The Raivavae Airport is on the island of Raivavae , to the Austral Islands of French Polynesia belongs. It is located on the south coast of the island within the lagoon . The runway was filled up in 2003 with funds from the EU and France .

The airport has regular flights from Papeete via Tubuai with small Air Tahiti propeller planes .
