The Vahitahi Airport is a regional airport on the Vahitahi Atoll in French Polynesia . It lies south of the town of Mohitu and is around 1150 kilometers east of the main island of Tahiti .

The airport was inaugurated in 1978.

Airlines and Destinations

Air Tahiti is the only airline that flies to the airport on a scheduled basis.
