The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport ( IATA code : BZN , ICAO code : KBZN until 2011 as the Gallatin Field called) is the commercial airport of the American small town Bozeman in the US state of Montana . It belongs to the Gallatin Airport Authority. In front of Billings Logan International Airport , Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is Montana's largest airport.

Location and transport links

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is located 15 kilometers northwest of downtown Bozeman and one kilometer east of downtown Belgrade . There is a junction on Interstate 90 south of the airport . Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is not part of the local public transport system; passengers have to use rental cars, taxis and similar offers.

Airlines and Destinations

The airport is of great regional importance, it is used on domestic American routes by the airlines Delta Airlines (39%), United Airlines (32%), Frontier Airlines (11%), Horizon Air (11%) and Allegiant Air (7%) approached. It is also used by cargo airlines and the military.

Contrary to the designation as an international airport, the airlines only serve domestic American destinations. The largest offer is after Denver (offered by United Airlines / United Express and Frontier Airlines) and Minneapolis / Saint Paul (offered by Delta Airlines / Delta Connection ). Other destinations include Salt Lake City , Chicago-O'Hare , Seattle / Tacoma and Dallas / Fort Worth .
