  • On July 15, 2012, an Eiri Avion PIK-20 D glider took off in tow behind a Robin DR 400 . Shortly after take-off, the 40-year-old pilot of the glider found that the elevator was not working. He disengaged the tow rope and extended the airbrakes . The front part of the aircraft's fuselage then hit the ground from a height of around thirty meters. The pilot was seriously injured and the glider was badly damaged. The tow plane landed shortly afterwards without any problems. According to his own statement, the glider pilot forgot to connect the elevator when upgrading.
  • On August 20, 2015, a Glaser-Dirks Glaser-Dirks DG-100 D glider took off in tow behind a Robin DR 400. At a height of fifteen to twenty meters, the tow rope came off the glider and its pitch became increasingly steep. Then the plane crashed on the grass runway of the square. The glider was destroyed and the 64-year-old pilot was fatally injured.
  • On June 18, 2017, an Astir CS 77 glider touched the ground with its left wing while being towed with the winch . The plane then swerved to the left. While the left wing remained on the ground, the aircraft lifted, turned on its vertical axis and hit the ground again at a steep angle. Since the aircraft was still hanging on the winch rope, it was pulled over the runway until the winch could be stopped. The 72-year-old pilot was fatally injured and the glider was badly damaged.
