Four Nations Chess League 1999/2000

The 1999/2000 season was the seventh season of the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL).

The defending champion Slough only gave up one point against runner-up Wood Green and ended up three points ahead. Two clubs had renamed themselves, the Invicta Knights Maidstone and the British Chess Magazine now had the new names Index-IT and The ADs . From Division 2 Silvine White Rose , the second team from Wood Green and Guildford A&DC were promoted . While White Rose and Guildford achieved relegation, Wood Green's second team along with Bristol and the North West Eagles had to relegate directly.

Dates and venues

The competitions took place on October 9 and 10, November 20 and 21, 1999, January 22 and 23, March 25 and 26, and April 29 and 30 and May 1, 2000. All rounds were central aligned in Birmingham .
