Four Nations Chess League 2015/16
The Four Nations Chess League 2015/16 is the 23rd season of the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL).
The defending champions Guildford A&DC won their fourth consecutive title. Last year, 3Cs , Sussex Martlets , Spirit of Atticus and the second team from White Rose Chess rose. 3Cs reached relegation as the only climber, in addition to the Sussex Martlets, Spirit of Atticus and the second team of White Rose Chess, Cambridge University was relegated.

Game dates
The competitions will take place on November 14 and 15, 2015, January 23 and 24, 2016, February 13 and 14, 2016, March 19 and 20, 2016 and from April 30 to May 2, 2016. All rounds will be centrally located in Birmingham .

The 16 teams were divided into the two preliminary rounds as follows:

Note : The previous year's position is given in brackets; if it is preceded by an "A", it is the previous year’s position of a climber in Division 2. Last year's twelfth e2e4.org.uk withdrew his team, fourth place in Division 2 occupied the non-eligible third team from Guildford A&DC.
Pool A
While Cheddleton, Barbican and Wood Green Hilsmark Kingfisher qualified early for the championship pool, the decision on fourth place was only made in the last round in favor of the second team from Guildford A&DC.

Notes : Blackthorne Russia lost a game without a fight against the Barbican second team, so half a board point was deducted from them. The second team from Barbican lost against the first team from Guildford A&DC a game without a fight and was punished for it with the deduction of a board point.
Finals
Championship pool
In addition to the defending champion Guildford A&DC, the Cheddleton and Leek Chess Club started with 8-0 points, but in the end Guildford clearly stood out.
