Frank Sinatra Jr. (Born January 10, 1944 in Jersey City , New Jersey ; † March 16, 2016 in Daytona Beach , Florida ; actually Franklin Wayne Emmanuel Sinatra ) was an American pianist , songwriter , actor , singer and entertainer . He was the son of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Barbato and the brother of Nancy and Tina Sinatra .

Life

Frank Sinatra Jr. received music lessons from the age of five, learned primarily violin and piano and also practiced composing at an early age, although it was important to start his career without the support of his prominent father. In December 1963, Sinatra Jr. in Stateline on Lake Tahoe kidnapped and released by his father only after payment of a ransom in the amount of 240,000 US dollars. The perpetrators were arrested and sentenced to long prison terms.

The son Michael Francis Sinatra (* 1987) comes from his relationship with Pat Fisher. In the fall of 1998, Sinatra married Jr. the Texan attorney, Cynthia McMurrey; the couple separated in January 2000. Frank Sinatra Junior died of cardiac arrest in March 2016 at the age of 72 while on a concert tour in Daytona Beach, Florida .
