Franz Josef Hadatsch
Franz Josef Hadatsch (born March 25, 1798 , † June 1, 1849 in Landstrasse , today Vienna - pseudonym : Karl Blumauer ) was an Austrian civil servant and writer .
Life
Franz Josef Hadatsch worked full-time as a civil servant in the kk Lower Austrian provincial government in Vienna, where he worked as a clerk. As a writer he wrote short stories, poems and the novel The Marriage through the brochure . He also wrote the memoirs of comedian Anton Hasenhut under the title Whims of Fate, according to his information.
Hadatsch was particularly close to the theater and similar amusements. At a young age he assisted the theater poet Ferdinand Rosenau in his preparatory work for the play Staberl in Morocco for the Leopoldstadt Theater as a scribe. He appeared as the secretary of well-known equestrian ensembles, for example in 1825 for Christoph de Bach's troupe and twenty years later for his son-in-law Alexander Guerra.
Franz Josef Hadatsch was the owner of the house at Rochusgasse 9 in what was to become the 3rd district of Vienna, Landstrasse , at that time with the address Landstrasse 297. There he died at the age of 51 of an organic heart condition. He was buried in the Sankt Marxer Friedhof . In 1947, the Office for Culture and Public Education of the City of Vienna had a commemorative plaque attached to his grave, which had been badly damaged. In 1954, Hadatschgasse in Vienna's 11th district Simmering was named after him.
