Franziska Brandmeier (* 1993 ) is a German actress .

Life

Franziska Brandmeier received ballet lessons as a child and developed an interest in acting at the age of 14. In 2009 she played her first television role in an episode of the series Die Pfefferkörner . Since her comrade debut, Brandmeier has acted in a large number of cinema productions, films and series.

From 2010 to 2014 Brandmeier attended the New Talent drama school in Hamburg. In 2013 she graduated from the Sachsenwaldschule Gymnasium Reinbek . After school she studied communication and cultural management at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance, where she a. a. co-founded the University's Drama Society.

In 2015, Franziska Brandmeier played the daughter of Sylvie Testud in the thriller Murderous Silence . The feature film Am Tag die Sterne , in which she played the leading female role, won the Up and Coming Young Talent Award in Hanover in 2017. In 2018 she shot the international cinema project Six Minutes to Midnight , with Judi Dench among others . In 2019, Brandmeier completed her Master of Arts at Goldsmiths College of Fine Arts , University of London .
