Frazee is a small town (with the status " City ") in Becker County of middle-northwest US -amerikanischen state of Minnesota . In 2010 Frazee had 1,350 inhabitants.

Frazee lies on both sides of the Otter Tail River , one of the two headwaters of the Red River of the North . The place is located at 46 ° 43'41 "north latitude and 95 ° 42'03" west longitude and extends over 2.87 km².

Neighboring towns to Frazee are Rochert (15.7 km north), Perham (18.2 km southeast), Vergas (13.3 km southwest), and Detroit Lakes (16.3 km northwest).

The four-lane US Highway 10 runs along the southwestern outskirts . This crosses Minnesota State Route 87 as the main road through central Frazee . All other roads are subordinate and partly unpaved roads as well as inner-city connecting roads.

Parallel to the US 10 runs a railway line of the BNSF Railway , on which also the Empire Builder of Amtrak inverted and engages a stop in the adjacent Detroit Lakes.

With the Detroit Lakes Airport there is a small regional airfield located 13 miles northwest. The nearest major airport is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, 328 km southeast .
