Alfred "Fredy" Lienhard (born September 14, 1947 in Herisau , Canton Appenzell ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and racing car driver .

Professional career
Fredy Lienhard took over entrepreneurial responsibility for Lista in 1970 at the age of 22 after the sudden death of senior partner Alfred Lienhard . Lienhard built up the Office Group with the Lista Office LO , InterOffice and Denz brands . This is now one of the leading manufacturers and providers of office furniture systems. In 2014, after more than 44 years, Lienhard handed over his mandate as Chairman of the Board of Directors to Erwin Stoller. Daughter Franziska Lienhard Nava took over the vice presidency.
car racing
In 1968 Fredy Lienhard founded the Lista Racing team . In the 1970s and 1980s, he drove in Formula Vee and Formula 2 , and Lienhard was often to be found at mountain races in Switzerland. His greatest victory celebrated Lienhard in 2002: in the Rolex Sports Car Series, he won together with Didier Theys , Mauro Baldi and Max Papis , the 24 Hours of Daytona with a Dallara SP1 of Doran Lista Racing .
Autobau AG
In 2007 Fredy Lienhard bought an area with fallow industrial buildings from the Romanshorn community . An adventure world called autobau Factory was created there . The collector's items from racing and Lienhard's private holdings are exhibited in the halls. The autobau AG was founded with the aim of promoting new talent in racing.
