Friedrich Carl Hector Wilhelm Freiherr von Günderrode called von Kellner (born April 25, 1786 in Karlsruhe , † March 21, 1862 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German lawyer and politician .

life and work

Günderrode was the youngest child of Hector Wilhelm von Günderrode called von Kellner and his wife Luise Sophie Victorie Auguste Henriette Friedrike von Günderrode . The family Günderrode belonged to the influential since the 16th century patrician families of ganerbschaft Old Limpurg in Frankfurt . His oldest sister was the poet Caroline von Günderrode , four other older sisters died in childhood.

He studied law in Heidelberg and was Badischer Chamberlain and forester in Mosbach am Neckar . In 1823 he became a senator and lay judge in Frankfurt am Main . In 1841, 1847, 1851 and 1861 the Senate elected him Senior Mayor of the Free City of Frankfurt . In addition, he was a member of the Legislative Assembly and the Senate Commission for negotiating with authorities of the German Confederation .

He married Freiin Charlotte Henriette von Closen-Haidenburg on March 28, 1812 (born September 14, 1788). The couple had several children:
