Friedrich Franz Mayer

Friedrich Franz von Mayer (born February 10, 1816 in Hall , † December 11, 1870 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer and administrative officer . He held the high office of a State Councilor in the Kingdom of Württemberg .

Life

Friedrich Franz Mayer, the son of a customs inspector , attended the Latin school in Hall and then trained as a clerk at the notary and administrative actuary in Tübingen . Mayer studied law and political science at the University of Tübingen from 1834 to 1837 . After completing his legal clerkship at the Oberamt Göppingen and in other departments, he passed the second official examination in 1838 . Now Mayer first became senior actuary at the Oberamt Gaildorf , in 1840 assistant in the office of the Württemberg Ministry of the Interior and in 1841 auxiliary worker in the upper government . Also in 1841 he was still a government assessor in the government of the Danube district in Ulm and in 1842 collegial assistant in the Ministry of the Interior. On September 5, 1844 he was promoted to the administrative office of Verweser , and from 1844 he was senior administrator at the Neckarsulm District Office (commenced on February 11, 1845). In 1850, Mayer was appointed chief magistrate of the Göppingen government , where he was promoted to government councilor in 1863 . In 1864 Friedrich Franz Mayer became an extraordinary member of the Privy Council . In 1865 he was appointed to the Upper Government Council and in 1870 to the State Council. Friedrich Franz Mayer died on December 11, 1870.

In 1857 and 1862 Mayer published basic works on administrative law .
