Friedrich Greim

Friedrich Wilhelm Greim (born May 12, 1824 in Mommenheim (Rheinhessen) , † April 8, 1913 in Darmstadt ) was a German teacher and politician in the Grand Duchy of Hesse.

Life

Greim was the son of pastor Karl Friedrich Greim and his wife Marie Philippine nee. Boiler. The Protestant Greim married Mathilde Emma Katinka born in 1858. Heddäus (1834-1908).

Greim studied philology at the Hessian Ludwig University and became active in the Corps Rhenania Gießen in 1844. In the same year he became a member of the Corps Hasso-Nassovia . In 1846 he received the ribbon of the Corps Hassia Giessen . 1857 secondary school teacher in Offenbach am Main. In 1860 he became the first teacher and conductor at the secondary school in Alsfeld, before returning to Offenbach in 1863 as director of the secondary school. From 1872 to 1874 he sat in the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . He was elected for the constituency of the city of Offenbach. In 1874 he was appointed high school councilor and in 1880 a secret high school councilor. From 1881 he was a member of the Hessian Central Office for State Statistics in Darmstadt. In 1895 he was retired.
