Frédéric Pfaltz

Frédéric Pfaltz (born May 19, 1789 in Offenbach am Main ; † July 25, 1841 ibid) was a Hessian manufacturer and liberal politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Frédéric Pfaltz was the son of the manufacturer and Schönfärber zu Offenbach Anton Ludwig (Antoine Louis) Pfaltz, and his wife Johannette Katharine Elise, née Fadderjahn. His sister Jeanette Margarethe (1798-1865) married the President of the Grand Ducal Hessian Forest and Domain Directorate Johann (Friedrich) August Schenck . Pfaltz, who was of the French Reformed faith, was a manufacturer in Offenbach and married Amelie, born Schwalbe (1789–1869) in Braunschweig on May 15, 1814.

In 1834 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Offenbach .
