Friedrich Kunstmann

Friedrich Kunstmann (born January 4, 1811 in Nuremberg , † August 15, 1867 in Munich ) was a German theologian in the Kingdom of Bavaria.

Life

As the son of a military chief cashier, Kunstmann studied Catholic theology at the Academia Ottoniana in Bamberg . In 1830 he became a member of the Isaria Corps . 1834 became a priest, he was in the same year from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Dr. iur. PhD . In 1837 he became a religion teacher at the agricultural and trade school in Munich. In 1839 also with the Bavarian Cadet Corps , in 1840 he accepted the position of educator with the Infanta Maria Amalia of Portugal in Lisbon . Returned to Munich in 1846, he became associate professor in 1847and in 1848 full professor of law in Munich. He was later appointed a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences . He died at the age of 56.
