Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Büxenstein , also Georg Wilhelm Büxenstein , (born December 13, 1857 in Berlin ; † July 12, 1924 in Ladeburg near Bernau near Berlin ) was a German publisher, printer owner and court book printer of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia , co-founder of the Berlin Rowing Club and the German Rowing Association as well as a member of the Berlin regatta club. His printing company W. Büxenstein , founded by his father Wilhelm Büxenstein in 1852, printed among other things banknotes for the Reichsbank .

In 1899/1900 Büxenstein had the historic hunting seat Hubertushöhe , which is now a listed building, built for his family and for representative purposes at the Dolgensee . The property was sold again in 1916. The renovated building complex now serves as a luxury hotel.

In 1903 Büxenstein was admitted to the Freemason Lodge Friedrich Wilhelm for crowned justice .

In 1912 he was awarded the Prussian Crown Order II. Class by Kaiser Wilhelm II . He held the honorary title of a secret commercial councilor .

Büxenstein was buried in the family's hereditary funeral in Kirchhof I of the Jerusalem and New Church Congregation in Berlin-Kreuzberg (Dept. 1/1). His final resting place is an honorary grave of the State of Berlin.

In the district of Berlin-Grünau the district Treptow-Koepenick administration named the former station road on November 3, 1938 into Büxensteinallee.
