The Friedrichsbauhof establishment first appeared in an official journal of the Potsdam government in 1860. At that time it belonged to the shipbuilder Friedrich Bauer, who had rebuilt it "on the field of the village of Gussow". As part of Gussow, Friedrichsbauhof was also under the rule of King Wusterhausen . In 1858 two people lived there; In 1925 the number had grown to 41 people. Friedrichsbauhof became a part of the municipality of Gussow in 1970.
Friedrichsbauhof and Gussow have been part of the Heidesee community since October 26, 2003.
