history

The establishment of the place goes back to a cabinet order of Friedrich II in the course of the colonization of Prussia on January 19, 1753. The planning envisaged a settlement for seven farmers with 864 acres of land and 175 acres of meadow. This plan was implemented in 1755 and can therefore also be used as the founding year. In the spring of 1758 the Prage , an arable land between Friedersdorf and Dannenreich, was surveyed . In 1777 another 28 colonists settled in Friedrichshof, who presumably operated a wool spinning mill there on just two acres of land. Almost 100 years earlier, the street village of Wenzlow, which belonged to the Storkow estate , was built. The inhabitants lived mainly from agriculture, animal husbandry and fishing. Some were also drawn to nearby Berlin as commuters . In 1883, an innkeeper in Dannenreich was granted the right to use an open-air bowling alley . On June 5, 1965, Friedrichshof was incorporated into Dannenreich. In 2005 the community celebrated its 250th anniversary.
