Fritz Hehle
Erich Fritz Hehle (born February 11, 1942 in Chemnitz ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 2009 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament and held the office of parliamentary group leader of the CDU from 1994 to 2008.
Life
After graduating from POS in 1958, Hähle trained as a mechanic / electrical mechanic . From 1964 to 1969 he completed a correspondence course to become an electronics engineer , and from 1968 to 1972 an evening course to become a graduate engineer in control engineering. In 1986 the doctorate followed . Until 1990 he worked as a research engineer at Chemnitz University of Technology .
Fritz Hehle is Evangelical-Lutheran with an evangelical character, married and has three children.
politics
Hehle has been a member of the CDU since 1990, from 1991 to 1995 he was first deputy state chairman, then until 2001 state chairman of the CDU Saxony . Since 2001 he has been the district chairman of the CDU Chemnitzer Land .
From 1990 to 1998 he was a local councilor in Grüna (now part of Chemnitz), also from 1990-1994 chairman of the local council and since 1999 a member of the Grüna local council. From 1990 to 2009 he was a member of the state parliament as a directly elected member of the constituency of Chemnitzer Land 2 . From 1994 to 2008 Hähle was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. He was a member of the Committee on Science and University, Culture and Media and the Committee on Social Affairs, Health, Family, Women and Youth. In the state elections in 2009 , he was no longer a candidate.
Honors
On June 2, 2012 he was awarded the Saxon Landtag President Matthias Roessler for its participation in the development of parliamentarism and the consolidation of democratic structures in Saxony, the Saxon Constitutional Medal .
