Afterlife

A cult has developed around Renner's grave . Followers of the Father claimed "extraordinary perceptions" and ascribed "healing of the sick" to him; he will “one day be beatified ”. The monastery of Sankt Ottilien, in whose cemetery Renner is buried, does not support the cult and does not attribute any miracles to Renner .

The writer Fritz Fenzl , however, promotes the posthumous veneration of Frumentius Renner and describes him as a “wise Benedictine and undisputed expert in paranormal questions”; For his part, Renner described his encounter with Fenzl as "the providence and work of the Guardian Angel ".
