Götz Rothacker

Götz Rothacker (* 1968 in Calw ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Rothacker went to the Swiss restaurant in Wertheim , which was awarded two Michelin stars, in 1993 , then to Berthold Bühler in Essen , to the Hotel Bareiss in Baiersbronn and in 1995 to the Schwarzwaldstube with Harald Wohlfahrt , also in Baiersbronn. Then Rothacker moved to Switzerland before taking his master chef exam in 1996 . In 1999 he worked in France at L'Espérance , which has three Michelin stars, under Marc Meneau inSaint-Père-sous-Vézelay .

In 2000 he became head chef at Jöhri's Talvo in St. Moritz , which was awarded two Michelin stars. The Königshof in Munich was awarded a Michelin star under his leadership in 2002, as was the Ermitage am See in Küsnacht on Zurich's Gold Coast . In 2006 Rothacker went to the Seehotel Töpferhaus in Alt Duvenstedt . In summer 2008 he moved to the Imperial restaurant at the 5-star Schlosshotel Bühlerhöhe in the Black Forest. From 2009 he cooked in the Airport Club restaurant , the “Business Club” at Frankfurt Airport .

In 2013 he took over the kitchen management of the Sansibar by Breuninger restaurant in Düsseldorf's Kö-Bogen . In May 2017, the Sansibar by Breuninger in Stuttgart was added.
