Götzeroth is a part of the local community Kleinich in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Geographical location

Götzeroth is located in the middle of the Hunsrück, two kilometers from the main town of Kleinich. The nearest basic and medium-sized centers are Büchenbeuren , Sohren , Traben-Trarbach , Morbach , Bernkastel-Kues and Simmern . The Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is 15 kilometers from the village.

Until 1974 Götzeroth was an independent municipality . As part of the administrative reform begun in Rhineland-Palatinate in the mid-1960s, today's local community of Kleinich was re-established on March 17, 1974 from Götzeroth and six other communities . In 1974 Götzeroth had a total of 105 inhabitants.
