Günter Geiermann

Günter Geiermann , (born April 1, 1938 in Trier ; † August 20, 2013 in Munich ) was a German actor .

Life

Geiermann studied acting at the Academy in Saarbrücken . After various supporting roles in German sex films (1971 to 1974), episode roles in various television series ( Derrick , Der Kommissar , Der Alte ) and engagements as a stage actor (including Bern), he was mainly known as the advertising character " Herr Kaiser " for the Hamburg-Mannheimer insurance company, which he played in television commercials from 1972 to 1990. Geiermann had a small supporting role as Gottschalk Live questioner in the program Stuckrad Late Night since 2012 .

In 1967 Geiermann moved to Munich. According to his own statements, he lived there in poor conditions on a monthly pension of 700 euros due to a lack of provision. He also died in Munich on August 20, 2013.
