Stuckrad-Barre was a late night show hosted by Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre . In the style of Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show , two sidekicks sat on a balcony in the hall in the first episodes . It was originally broadcast on ZDFneo under the title Stuckrad Late Night since December 16, 2010 .
The program was produced by Christian Ulmen and his production company ULMEN TELEVISION GmbH. The 45-minute broadcast was initially recorded the day before it was broadcast. The recordings took place in the 1st season in the Ballhaus Rixdorf in Berlin-Neukölln and since the beginning of the 2nd season in the studio of the Fernsehwerft am Osthafen in Berlin-Friedrichshain .
At the beginning of the third season, the program switched to Tele 5 on October 11, 2012 . The program, which has been called Stuckrad-Barre since then, was broadcast without commercial breaks, as was previously the case on the public broadcasting station ZDFneo, which was absolutely free of advertising. The second and third season of the series can still be seen on the internet on the online platform ulmen.tv.
Stuckrad Late Night (ZDFneo)
First season
At the beginning of each broadcast, Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre gave a monologue on current events. This was followed by a record of "HAUTNAH" external reporter Gero Schorch (portrayed by Jörg Diernberger ) and a word explanation ( e.g. elephant round ) in the Wöllnerklopädie by Uwe Wöllner , which was played by Christian Ulmen.

Second season
With the second season, the concept of the show was changed a bit. Christian Ulmen no longer appears in front of the camera. There are also no other clips at the beginning of the program. Instead, more time is devoted to the guest. What is new is that the guest should review the past week using photos.
