Günter Oehlert

Günter Oehlert (born April 4, 1923 in Königsberg ; † April 9, 2013 in Heidelberg ) was a German gynecologist and obstetrician .

Günter Oehlert received his training in Göttingen under Heinrich Martius and Heinz Kirchhoff , and in Gießen under Richard Kepp . After his dissertation in 1947 at the Georg-August University of Göttingen and his habilitation in 1957, he was appointed private lecturer in 1958 and Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen in 1962 . In 1965 Oehlert took over the management of the municipal women's clinic in Hanau , which he managed until 1988.

From 1982 to 1984 Günter Oehlert was President of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics and organized its congress in 1984 in Frankfurt am Main .
