The Hanauer Anzeiger (HA) is the third oldest German daily newspaper . The sold edition is 14,498 copies.
Since spring 2015, the publisher's newspapers and weekly newspapers have been printed in the Offenbach-Post print shop .
history
On September 27, 1725 , the Hanauer Anzeiger was first issued as an advertisement sheet, at that time still under the title weekly Hanauer Frag- und Anzeigungs-Nachrichten . The first edition is said to have been 180 copies and the paper is said to have appeared every Thursday of the week . The annual subscription cost one guilder . In addition to official announcements, all kinds of advertisements were printed. The first printer of the Hanauer Anzeiger was Johann Jacob Beausang, his office was on the ditch next to the Carpen on the south side of today's Freiheitsplatz in downtown Hanau . After the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung and the Pfälzischer Merkur , the HA was the oldest still existing newspaper with full editorial staff in Germany until 2015 .

The paper is published by the Bauer family and has been produced by Offenbach-Post since printing was relocated in 2015 . The distribution area extends over the western area of the Main-Kinzig district . The main edition of the Hanauer Anzeiger appears in addition to the Hanau urban area in the towns and communities of Bruchköbel , Erlensee , Großkrotzenburg , Hammersbach , Neuberg , Nidderau , Niederdorfelden , Rodenbach , Ronneburg and Schöneck . Two headers , which differ in their regional / local section and title, cover the rest of the distribution area:
