Günther Schütt or Günter Schütt (born March 31, 1918 in Berlin , † March 19, 1996 in Saarbrücken ) was a German rower .
Schütt rowed for the Saarbrücken rowing company Undine . At the German championships in 1951 he won in a single in front of Günter Lange from Frankfurt and Waldemar Beck from Franconia . In 1953 he won ahead of Thomas Schneider from Gießen and Günter Lange.
At the Summer Olympics in 1952 , Schütt was part of the Saarland Olympic team . In Helsinki, Schütt took third place in the second run, but won the second hope run. In the fight for the final, he was defeated by the South African Ian Stephen .
