The place Gaas is a place of the municipality Eberau in Burgenland. The Hungarian name is Pinkakertes and the Croatian Kerteš .

Gaas is a cadastral municipality and was an independent municipality until December 31, 1970. As a result of the Municipal Structure Improvement Act, the municipalities of Eberau, Gaas, Croatian Ehrensdorf, Kulm, Oberbildein, Unterbildein and Winten merged to form the larger municipality of Eberau, effective January 1, 1971.

Gaas is a narrow village on the Pinkatal Wine Route. The place is mentioned in a document as belonging to Kertes Castle. Streckhöfe and Hakenhöfe are mostly located on the three-sided anger with the gable side facing the anger. In the west of the village there is a cellar lane with narrow cellar houses. The branch church of St. Anna is in the center of the village. The parish and pilgrimage church of Maria Weinberg is visible from afar south of the village on the slope of the Kulmer Forest on the site of the former Kertes castle.
