Gabriel Heinrich Pollmann (born November 1712 in Uelzen ; died February 11, 1789 in Hanover ) was a Lutheran theologian and pastor .

Life

Gabriel Heinrich Pollmann was born at the time of the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg as the son of the Uelzen merchant treasurer Andreas Julius Pollmann. He first attended the Uelzener Schule, then the Johanneum in Lüneburg and then studied at the University of Helmstedt , where he worked as a respondent for Johann Lorenz von Mosheim's dissertation ... From 1736 Pollmann held the office of preacher in the villages of Jühnde and Barliesen near Göttingen.
