Gabriel Lawrence Sengol
Gabriel Lawrence Sengol (born September 18, 1928 in Mandalakottai ; † January 29, 2012 ) was an Indian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tiruchirappalli .
Life
Gabriel Lawrence Sengol was ordained a priest on April 17, 1955 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tiruchirappalli on October 6, 1990 .
The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches Duraisamy Simon Cardinal Lourdusamy donated him episcopal ordination on December 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Marianus Arokiasamy , Archbishop of Madurai , and Packiam Arokiaswamy , Archbishop ad personam of Tanjore .
On October 14, 1997, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation.
