Gabriella Baumann-von Arx

Gabriella Baumann-von Arx (born March 4, 1961 in Obererlinsbach ) is a Swiss author and publisher .

Life

Gabriella Baumann-von Arx grew up in the canton of Aargau in Erlinsbach and Lenzburg . She worked as a medical assistant and flight attendant before devoting herself to writing. After the birth of her two children, she began to write for Annabelle , later for the SonntagsZeitung and Wir Eltern . Her columns, which she and her husband wrote for the magazine Schweizer Familie , were published in book form in 2000. The books on Nella Martinetti and Evelyne Binsack followed shortly afterwards . With the first book about Lotti Latrous ( Lotti, La Blanche ), she made it to number 1 on the Swiss bestseller list. After Werd Verlag rejected the successor book, Baumann-von Arx founded Wörterseh Verlag. Madame Lotti was published in December 2004. In January 2005 Lotti Latrous was voted Swiss Woman of the Year 2004.

Gabriella Baumann-von Arx is married to Frank Baumann , lives in Lachen SZ and Vals GR , and has two children.
