Gail Strickland (born May 18, 1947 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is an American actress .
Life
She made her television debut in the series Dark Shadows in 1969 . Strickland made her film debut in 1975 with Paul Newman in Under Water You Don't Die . She had great success in 1976 in This Land is My Country , 1978 in Dirty Dogs , 1979 in Norma Rae - A woman stands her husband , 1984 in Protocol - Everything dances to my tune and 1993 in Three with all my heart . In addition, Strickland has appeared in front of the camera in numerous television productions, including Murder is Her Hobby , Dallas , Seinfeld , Law & Order , Profiler , Chicago Hope , Dr. Quinn - Passionate Doctor and Melrose Place .
