The Gambian U-17 national soccer team is a selection team of Gambian soccer players . It is subject to the Gambia Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at the U-17 African championships and the U-17 world championships .

The team became African champions in 2005 and 2009 . So far she has been able to qualify twice for the World Cup, but was eliminated in the preliminary round ( 2005 and 2009 ).
