Geoff Huegill (born March 4, 1979 in Gove , Northern Territory ) is an Australian swimmer and former world record holder over 50 m butterfly.

Huegill is the son of an Australian and a Thai woman . He lives in Bondi .

At the 2000 Olympic Games he won silver in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and bronze in the 100 m butterfly. At the 2001 World Championships he won gold in the 50 m butterfly and with the 4 × 100 m individual medley. Also bronze over 100 m butterfly. At the 1997 Short Course World Championships, he won gold with the 4 × 100 m individual relay and silver over 100 m butterfly. In 2002 he won gold in both the 50 m and the 100 m butterfly and silver with the 4 × 100 m individual medley.

At the Olympic Games in Athens , he only finished eighth over the 100 m butterfly. He was more successful at the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi , where he won the 100 m butterfly and the gold medal with the 4 × 100 m individual relay; there was also a silver medal for the 50 m butterfly.

In 2011 he won bronze in the 50 m butterfly at the World Swimming Championships in Shanghai .
