Georg Hann
Georg Gustav Hann (born January 30, 1897 in Vienna , † December 10, 1950 in Munich ) was an Austrian opera singer ( bass ).
Life
Hann did not begin his vocal training at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts with Theo Lierhammer until the age of 27 . At the invitation of the Munich general manager Clemens von Franckenstein he came to the Bavarian State Opera in Munich in 1927 and made his debut on February 15, 1927 in a performance by Freischütz .
Hann, who was appointed Kammersänger, belonged to the ensemble of the Bavarian State Opera until his death in 1950. His grave is in Munich's Ostfriedhof .
