Georg Reuling (politician)

Johann Georg Ludwig Reuling (born February 3, 1785 in Pirmasens ; † July 8, 1857 in Bessungen ) was a Hessian tax council and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Reuling was the son of General Staff Doctor Dr. med. Georg Friedrich Reuling (1739–1799) and his wife Luisa Elisabethe, née Koch (1751–1800). Reuling, who was Protestant, married Anna Barbara nee Kramer (1786-1852) on July 4, 1809.

In 1808 Reuling was the tax equator for the districts of Michelstadt, Fürstenau, Reichenberg and Kirch-Beerfurth. In 1822 he became tax commissioner in Michelstadt. 1833 he became a second class geometer. In 1852 he was retired with the character tax council.

From 1841 to 1847 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 9 / Erbach .
