Ludwig Albrecht Braun

Ludwig Albrecht Braun (born November 18, 1797 in Michelstadt , † September 26, 1869 in Rüsselsheim ) was a Hessian politician and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ludwig Albrecht Braun was the son of the red tanner master Leonhard Braun and his wife Katharina Dorothea, nee Walther. Ludwig Albrecht Braun, who was of Protestant denomination, was married to Christina Sophia Elisabetha, née Beringer, and her second marriage to Luise Katharina, née Rinck.

Ludwig Albrecht Braun studied Protestant theology at the University of Gießen from 1817 and was co-preacher and rector in Michelstadt from 1821 to 1828. In 1817 he became a member of the Christian-German fraternity / honor mirror fraternity and in 1819 of the general fraternity of Germania . From 1828 to 1842 he was second pastor in Beerfelden , from 1842 to 1852 first pastor there and from 1854 to 1869 pastor in Rüsselsheim.

In the 15th and 16th electoral periods (1856–1862) Ludwig Albrecht Braun was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency of Starkenburg 8 / Erbach .
