Georges Gope-Fenepej (born October 23, 1988 in Lifou ) is a New Caledonian football player who plays as a striker for the French club Le Mans FC .

Career

society

Gope-Fenepej started his career at AS Kirkitr before moving to AS Magenta in 2011 .

On June 29, 2012, he signed a one-year contract with the French team ES Troyes AC , which was newly promoted to the French Ligue 1 . On February 4, he made his Ligue 1 debut and played three minutes.

He has been with Le Mans FC since 2018 . In 2019 he rose to the second division together with the club , before relegating to the third division again in 2020 .

National team

He participated in his first tournament for the New Caledonia national team at the 2011 Pacific Games, where he scored seven goals while New Caledonia defended its title. In March 2020, he was called up again for two European friendlies after a long absence. However, the games were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
