action
Arizona, 1898. Convicts Peter van Hoek, nicknamed the Tulip, and John McBain are released from Yuma Territorial Prison . Peter van Hoek wants to take revenge on the sheriff and the city, who at that time put a gold robbery on him, for which van Hoek was convicted innocently. He now plans to actually rob a gold mine in the city, sell the stolen goods immediately for half the value to the gold mining entrepreneur Lounsberry and then disappear again. McBain, who actually intends to lead a decent life from now on, can quickly be won over by van Hoek for his plan. Together with the Mexican demolition manager Vicente they rob the mine, but Lounsberry and the trigger-happy deputy sheriff Leslie almost thwart the three of them.
Reviews
"Well-cast Western, which uses the same template as before John Huston's gangster film 'Asphalt Dschungel' (1950)."
