Gerhard Theobald (born December 27, 1949 ) is a former German football referee .

Theobald from Wiebelskirchen directed a total of 95 Bundesliga soccer games from 1982 to 1993 .

Today, Gerhard Theobald is the deputy chairman and association referee instructor of the Saarland Football Association.
