Gil Birmingham
Gil Birmingham (born July 13, 1953 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American actor .
life and career
Gil Birmingham learned to play guitar early and considers music his first love. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree , he worked as an engineer in the oil industry. After a successful use in a music video for Diana Ross , he switched entirely to acting in the late 1980s. Birmingham studied acting with Larry Moss and Charles Conrad and had his first television appearance in an episode of Trio with Four Fists , after which he has appeared in more than 40 film, television and theater productions, such as Twilight - Bis (s) zum Dawn and Love Ranch .
In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
