Giuseppe Tonani (born October 2, 1890 in Milan , † October 1, 1971 ibid) was an Italian weightlifter , tug of war and Olympic champion.
Career
Giuseppe Tonani started three times at the Olympic Games. In 1920 in Antwerp he was a member of the Italian team that finished fifth in the tug of war. In 1924 Paris he won the gold medal in the heavyweight division with a total performance of 517.5 kilograms in five lifts and in 1928 in Amsterdam he was seventh.
