The Glexenköpfe even Klexenköpfe are three mountain peaks of the Venice Group in East Tyrol . The highest of the peaks is 3,090 m above sea level. A. high.

The Glexenköpfe are located in the center of the Venediger Group in the ridge of the Hohe Glacier Roof south of the border between the federal state of Salzburg and East Tyrol and in the north of Prägraten am Großvenediger . Located in the core zone of the Hohe Tauern National Park , the Glexenköpfe are located in the middle of a glacier zone , with the outer Mullwitzkees colliding from the north with the Zettalunitzkees to the south of the Glexenköpfe . The Glexenköpfe rise only slightly above the glacier. East of the Glexenköpfe are the Stein am Ferner ( 3246 m above sea level ) and the Friedrich-August-Wand ( 3211 m above sea level ), which run through the Frosnitztörl ( 3110 m above sea level ) from the Weißspitze ( 3300 m above sea level ) m above sea level ). The Wallhorntörl ( 3,044 m above sea level ) lies south of the Glexenköpf , in the west Mullwitzköpfl ( 2,960 m above sea level ) and Mullwitzaderl ( 3,244 m above sea level ) as well as the Defreggerhaus between these peaks . To the north of the Glexenköpfe is the Hohe Zaun ( 3461 m above sea level ). Promotion opportunities
The easiest way to get to the Glexenköpfe is from the Defreggerhaus. To do this, turn east from Defreggerhaus and then cross the Outer Mullwitzkees to the east. The entrance to the rocky island of the Glexenköpfe takes place near the southern summit, whereby after the ascent to the southern summit you have to tackle the two northern rock peaks on the sharp-edged ridge ( III ).
