Glidden is a settlement on community-free area in Ashland County in the US -amerikanischen State Wisconsin . For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP) . In 2010 Glidden had 507 inhabitants.

Glidden is located in northern Wisconsin, on both sides of the Chippewa River , a left tributary of the Mississippi . The place is about 50 km south of the Upper Lake , the largest of the five Great Lakes . The geographical coordinates of Glidden are 46 ° 08'06 "north latitude and 90 ° 34'43" west longitude. The place forms the center of the Town of Jacobs and extends over an area of ​​5.57 km².
