The Gmina Aleksandrów Łódzki ( ) is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Zgierski of the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name with about 21,700 inhabitants.
history
The municipality borders in the southeast on the voivodeship capital Łódź and in the northeast on the district town Zgierz . It has an area of 116.43 km², 56 hectares of which are part of the Łódź Special Economic Zone with tax breaks for investors.
structure
The town itself and the following villages and districts, which are divided into 26 school departments, belong to the town-and-country community (gmina miejsko-wiejska) Gmina Aleksandrów Łódzki:
Novy Adamów, Stary Adamów, Bełdów, Bełdów Krzywa Wieś Chrośno, Ciężków, Jastrzębie Górne , Kolonia Brużyca, Księstwo, Krzywiec, Mala Brużyczka, Nakielnica with Karolew, Nowe Krasnodęby, Prawęcice, Rąbień with Antoniew, Rąbień AB (formerly Rąbinek) Ruda -Bugaj with Łobódź, Sanie, Słowak, Sobień, Stare Krasnodęby, Szatonia, Wola Grzymkowa with Budy Wolskie, Grunwald, Izabelin and Placydów as well as Zgniłe Błoto.
Districts and municipal school authorities are the former villages: Brużyca Wielka, Szatonia and Wierzbno.
