The Gmina Komańcza is a rural municipality in the Powiat Sanocki of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name with about 880 inhabitants.
According to the statistics of the 2002 census , 10.5% of the municipality's population are Ukrainians , the largest percentage in Poland.
geography
The municipality is located in the south of the country on the border between the Lower Beskids and the Bieszczady . The rural community borders Slovakia in the south-west .
structure
The rural community (gmina wiejska) Komańcza has an area of 455.18 km², on which about 4900 people live. The following 14 school departments belong to the municipality: Dołżyca, Czystogarb, Komańcza , Łupków, Mików, Moszczaniec, Radoszyce , Rzepedź, Rada Osiedlowa, Smolnik, Szczawne, Turzańsk , Wisłok Wielki, Wola Michowa and Wysoczany.
