The Gmina Krzywiń [ ˈkʂɨvʲiɲ ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Kościański of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city ​​of the same name ( German Kriewen ) with about 1700 inhabitants.

The municipality is located about 40 kilometers south of the city of Poznan . The Obra is the most important flowing water .
