The Gmina Lichnowy is a rural community in the powiat Malborski of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . The seat of the municipality is the village Lichnowy ( German Groß Lichtenau ).

Lisewo has a stop on the Warsaw – Gdańsk railway line and was the start of the Lisewo – Malbork narrow-gauge railway . The Szymankowo railway station is located on the Warszawa – Gdańsk railway line and was the start of the Szymankowo – Nowy Dwór Gdański railway line . The Lichnowy station was the branch station of the narrow-gauge railway Lichnowy – Lipinka Gdańska from the narrow-gauge railway Lisewo – Nowy Dwór Gdański .
