The Gmina wiejska Malbork is a rural municipality in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and in the Powiat Malborski (district). The seat of the rural community is the city of Malbork ( German Marienburg ), which belongs to the district but not to the community. The Gmina has an area of ​​100.9 km² and 4804 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).

The rural community includes the city of Malbork almost entirely. Neighboring municipalities and places are: Lichnowy , Malbork, Miłoradz , Nowy Staw , Stare Pole , Stary Targ and Sztum .

The following localities, which form 18 Schulzenämter ( sołectwo ), belong to the municipality , other localities and settlements without Schulzenamt are the settlement of Cisy, Czerwone Stogi, Gajewo, Gajewo Trzecie, Kamienice, Kapustowo, Lipowiec (Lipki) and Szawałd (Sadowo).
